ABOUT DJ TEE

DJ TurnUp Tee is a multi-talented entertainer, radio promotions professional, and open-format DJ known for blending creativity, energy, and culture through music.

Born in '91 in Newark, New Jersey, Tee was introduced to the craft at an early age by a father who also enjoys music and DJing. Originally pursuing journalism and film at Kean University and Temple University, Tee’s storytelling roots naturally evolved into curating unforgettable experiences in the community and for the culture.

Before hitting the turntables full-time, Tee explored creative storytelling through journalism and film — first studying at Kean University in Union, NJ, and later at Temple University in Philadelphia. Over time, that creative path led to discovering a true calling in music.

In 2020, Tee relocated to Florida, first settling in St. Petersburg before making the move to Tampa in 2022. Since then, Tee has been making a name in the local entertainment scene — working in promotions for some of Tampa Bay’s biggest radio stations including WiLD 94.1, 92.5 Maxima, 99.5 QYK, and Q105 FM.

When Tee isn’t representing Tampa Bay’s major airwaves, you can catch her live behind the decks weekly at Room 1701 Restaurant & Lounge and Cosmos Lounge in downtown Orlando, keeping the vibes lit and putting on for the community.
